HINCLIFFE’S LAUNCHES SHOOT AND STEAK PACKAGE
UK’s original farm shop branches into clay pigeon shooting
It’s ready, aim and fire up the grill at a popular Yorkshire farm shop as it launches a new clay-pigeon shooting and steak supper package.
Hinchliffe’s Farm Shop, at Netherton near Huddersfield, is now offering visitors a feast of homemade food and sporting competition. The full-day package kicks off at around 11am with home-cured bacon sandwiches and a hot drink in Hinchliffe’s Restaurant, then a trip to the shooting field where budding gamekeepers will be provided with 50 cartridges and 50 clays each.
After a day’s shooting, it’s back to the farm’s restaurant for a slap-up steak dinner from Hinchliffe’s renowned Steakhouse Menu, which showcases the farm’s own home-reared, 30-day matured, grass-fed beef. Hinchliffe’s was recently voted one of the top ten places in the UK to eat steak by the MSN website.
General Manager Simon Hirst says “Clay pigeon shooting is one of the fastest-growing sports in the British Isles, attracting hundreds of new participants each year. There’s no better place to do it than in the beautiful West Yorkshire countryside and no better way to finish the day than with one of our superb steak dinners!”.
Hinchliffe’s Shoot and Steak is ideal for private groups or corporate entertaining, and also makes the perfect stag do with a difference! The package costs from £65 per person, which includes gun hire, clays, cartridges and tuition from a clay pigeon shooting expert as well as dinner in the restaurant.
